    What You'll Do Here:

    Your Role: Director of Product Delivery

    You will own the prioritization and development within a product area, leading a cross-functional team. You will be responsible for understanding and executing on the value of the product in the market context, as part of Learning Objects’ cohesive, focused business strategy.

     

     

    Your Team: Product Team

    We’re creating the world’s best higher education learning environment to power the best brands in education.  The Product Team is responsible for understanding user needs, prioritizing user stories, and working with development teams to create and deliver an exceptional product.  In that capacity, our team has the exciting role of connecting all departments at the company to find product-market fit and execute on a cohesive, focused vision.

     

    What will you do?

    • Focus relentlessly on product-market fit, working directly with customers and your colleagues to discover and amplify value
    • Own your outcomes through effective management of your full-stack team. Lead design, engineering, and QA to deliver the best solutions with the highest value.
    • Continuously communicate product value throughout the development process
    • Demonstrate big picture and detailed product thinking
    • Simplify, break down big problems, crush complexity, and deliver on commitments
    • Radiate enthusiasm, energy, and a sense of urgency

    Skills You Will Need Here:

    • You have experience building software products
    • You have experience in Higher Education
    • You have a Bachelor’s degree
    • You are able to leverage your excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate strategy, purpose, and design to all levels of a development team, including management, engineers, and QA
    • You have a strong understanding of web and/or mobile-based applications
    • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    Extra credit for:

    • Experience as an administrator or faculty at a Higher Education institution
    • Graduate degree
    • Thought leadership experience
    • Experience making high-impact business decisions
