Your Team: Learning Solutions

The Learning Solutions (LS) team is focused on leveraging their expertise to develop innovative learning solutions for the higher ed industry and act as the quarterbacks for our delivery and integration practices. We work with academic executives to optimize the content and operations of online learning programs, support our business development and support functions, and ensure holistic coverage for our clients’ success.

 

Your Role: Learning Solutions Director

You’ll act as a quarterback for client support, with a specific focus on program management, including implementation planning, cost estimation, and risk management. You will be a key point of contact for both client and internal executives, our product development team, and other market-facing functions, including our learning engineers, bizdev team and high-tier customer support.

Responsibilities:

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with all required internal and external teams to define and deliver solutions
  • Conduct needs analysis with clients and key stakeholders to identify growth opportunities
  • Articulate customer business requirements back to our business in ways that allow us to quickly commit to execution
  • Apply enterprise technology experience and fluency, preferably with integrating new technology, to optimize solution designs that meet client needs within the overall vision of our product roadmap
  • Build consensus, facilitate trade-offs and drive projects to reach agreed objectives
  • Communicate on project deliverable status with internal and external stakeholders
  • Devise attack strategies to simplify projects and more generally crush complexity
  • Build and maintain deep and broad client relationships that facilitate successful, growing program implementations
  • Help identify the right partnerships and relationships needed to successfully deliver on client commitments and engagements through hybrid/partner management (e.g., student services, ID firms, infrastructures, LMS)
  • Partner with product delivery teams to identify feature gaps, customer needs, and continuous improvement to user experience

Qualifications:

What do we need from you?

  • 8-10 years experience in combination of:
    • Consulting / complex client leadership
    • Online learning design and delivery, preferably at or for academic institutions
  • Experience with online education program management, including building and running in the past
  • Experience implementing SaaS products and services in early markets with rapid growth
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate requirements and path forward to all colleagues from software engineers to CEOs
  • Analytics and problem-solving skills to create and analyze performance data and make recommendations
  • Attention to detail with the ability to zoom out to check strategic alignment
  • Extra credit for:
    • Expertise in learning science, learning design, CBE/L, and evaluation
    • Experience leading cross-functional teams
    • Learning science research or practical application of same
    • Masters in Business, Management, Computer Science, or related
